Positions Available

Purpose & Objectives
To demonstrate a positive, caring, professional and dependable attitude. To have the ability to work independently while in a team oriented environment. To provide exceptional customer service with each and every client. Must have the ability to maintain a positive attitude and create a positive environment. To exhibit the ability to multi-task during peak times.

Duties & Job Functions

  • Taking bookings for the service providers
  • Accommodating clients
  • Following specific, outlined procedures
  • Performing daily tasks
  • Maintaining professional phone etiquette
  • Welcoming clients upon arrival
  • Ability to handle multiple incoming calls and clients at one time
  • Performing transactions and handling cash
  • Educating clients regarding particular services and expectations
  • Attending required departmental meetings
  • Participating in “extra” activities such as fundraising

Position Qualifications

  • Completed high school
  • Some previous experience would be an asset

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Some computer knowledge
  • Phone skills (using a multiple-line phone)
  • Familiar with operating systems such as Pro-Salon
  • Exceptional communication skills via phone, e-mail and in person
  • Ability to multi-task, i.e. booking several appointments for several clients, answering phones etc.
  • Ability to perform transactions and handle cash accurately
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Minimal physical requirements

Desirable Qualities

  • Ability to learn quickly, previous experience within the industry, and with customer service.
